RutLock, a hunting and outdoor mobile application, is managed by The Gospel Pursuit LLC. This document outlines how we gather, utilize, store, and manage your data when you interact with the RutLock app and its associated services.
Data Collection Protocols
RutLock gathers information provided by you, such as your full name, email contact, account credentials, profile details, and hunting-specific data, including content shared within private hunting groups.
Furthermore, we collect automated data resulting from app usage, including hardware details, user activity logs, diagnostic reports, and essential data required to maintain and optimize the app functionality.
Geolocation Data
Specific tools within RutLock require access to your device’s GPS coordinates. Upon your approval, location data enables mapping features and hunting tools tailored to your physical position.
You maintain full control over these permissions through your mobile device’s system settings.
Collaborative Groups and Data Sharing
RutLock facilitates group coordination, allowing users to broadcast details to other members. Data intentionally distributed through these features will be accessible to participants within that specific group.
We advise users to only disclose information they are comfortable sharing with their chosen group members.
Alerts and Notifications
When enabled, RutLock sends push notifications to keep you informed. You can modify or revoke these notification settings at any time within your device preferences.
Application of Information
The gathered data is utilized to power the application; manage user profiles; deliver mapping and hunting tools; sync data across platforms; send alerts; safeguard user security; troubleshoot technical errors; enhance system performance; and offer dedicated customer support.
Integrations with Third Parties
RutLock utilizes third-party infrastructure, such as Google Firebase, to manage user authentication, cloud storage, push alerts, analytics, and stability monitoring.
These external providers handle information in accordance with their specific privacy standards and legal regulatory requirements.
Procedures for Data Sharing
We do not traffic or sell user data to third parties.
Information is only disclosed to essential service providers, other RutLock users via your active group sharing, legal authorities when mandated by law, or to protect the safety and operational integrity of RutLock and our community.
Storage Duration and Account Removal
We retain data as long as necessary to facilitate our services, meet legal mandates, settle conflicts, ensure security, and uphold our terms of service.

You may delete your RutLock account directly within the RutLock app through Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes your account and associated personal data from RutLock, including private account data and user content, subject to limited records that we may be required to retain for legal compliance, fraud prevention, payment and refund processing, security, or essential recordkeeping. Any retained records are limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

If you have an active App Store or Google Play subscription, deleting your RutLock account does not automatically cancel the subscription with Apple or Google. You should manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable app store. RutLock provides access to subscription management within the app where supported.

Minor's Privacy Protection
While RutLock serves outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, including families, guardians must oversee the app usage of minors.
We do not intentionally gather data from children against legal standards. If you suspect a minor has submitted personal data without consent, please contact us immediately to facilitate a review and deletion.
Data Security Measures
We implement standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information within RutLock. Please be aware, however, that no digital storage or transmission over the internet is ever entirely impervious to risk.
User Rights and Options
Subject to local regulations, you may have the right to access, edit, or delete your personal records. You can also regulate data flow, such as location and alerts, through your mobile operating system.
